The project

A fast, mobile-first site for a growing local kitchen — 0.8s load, +63% online orders.

The food was never the problem. The site was — slow on the phones most customers used, hard to find in local search, and a checkout that lost people before they finished ordering.

We built for the phone first: a site that loads in under a second and puts ordering one tap away. Then we did the unglamorous work that actually moves a local business — structured the pages for local search, cleaned up the metadata, and wired analytics so the owner can see what is working.

The result is a site that shows up when someone nearby is hungry, loads before they lose patience, and turns a search into an order — the whole point of a business website.

Challenge, solution, outcome

Challenge

A growing local kitchen was invisible where it mattered: slow to load on the phones most of its customers used, buried in local search, and losing orders to a checkout that took too many taps. A pretty site would not have fixed any of that.

Solution

Mobile-first, performance-first. We designed for the phone in the parking lot, not the desktop in the office — then engineered the build to load in under a second, structured the content for local search, and made ordering the shortest path on the page.

Outcome

A site that loads before the customer loses patience and shows up when they search. Online orders climbed through the first quarter, and the client owns a fast, accessible site they can grow into rather than replace.
